I'm excited to share that I have submitted two new photographs for consideration in the Gallery 360 Juried Exhibition at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. This annual exhibition showcases original work by regional artists and photographers, with accepted pieces on display throughout the summer exhibition.
Both images celebrate the beauty of Mount Rainier National Park and capture two unforgettable moments in nature.
One photograph features a deer quietly grazing among vibrant alpine wildflowers, a peaceful scene that perfectly reflects the serenity of the mountain's summer meadows. The second captures a fleeting meteor streaking across the night sky above one of Mount Rainier's iconic lookouts, a moment of patience, timing, and a little bit of luck.
These photographs represent two very different experiences on the mountain, one rooted in quiet wildlife encounters and the other in the wonder of the night sky. I'm honored to have the opportunity to submit them for this juried exhibition and look forward to hearing the results.
Stay tuned for acceptance announcements and, hopefully, the opportunity to see these images on display at Gallery 360 this August.
